ACCESSIBLE TOURISM

Does your business cater for tourists with accessibility needs?

I’ve travelled all around the world, and often to places that people said I’d never get to! The pyramids in Egypt, the Colosseum in Greece and the Grand Canyon in the US to name a few, but it wasn’t always easy and I learnt a lot along the way.

Now, I work as an accessible tourism consultant to improve the experience of people with disabilities. In the lead-up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, accessibility is on everyone’s radar.

With the Queensland Government offering a range of grants during the Year of Accessible Tourism, let me assist with:

  • audits
  • development of accessibility plans
  • improved communication and information sharing
  • digital and website accessibility
  • staff training and education
